The Internet provides a plethora of business opportunities. A current craze is the Online Business System. Every opportunity also throws up so called "Internet marketing gurus”. At the start, remember there is no program or course that can make you an overnight millionaire.

Making money is a time-consuming and labor-intensive affair. A current fraud has come to notice about Online Business Systems. A company called “Herbalife” goes by the name of Online Business Systems and Globalnet Marketing Solutions

They will ask you to buy a “decision kit" for approximately $38, and $299, for an "international business package". After that to become a “supervisor”, you need to collect your "Value Points at $2,000.

After certain formalities and more payments, you join with them. You also pay them $39.95 per month for usage of their autoresponder software to track leads. You also pay for your merchant account and retail site.

They also induce you to pay for an ad slot on the site. What is more, there are no confirmations to the number of leads you will get or to the quality of leads. A prohibition order was filed against them with the Federal Court of Canada and they pleaded guilty to “Pyramid selling”.

This does not mean that all online systems are frauds. They offer immense scope but you must hunt for the right opportunity. If you are scouting around for a good Online Business System, consider the following. First – “support”

Check out the validity of the given phone number and e-mail. This is critical, as you will be requiring guidance. Is the specific model suitable for you? Can you duplicate the other person’s success?

The determining factor is the “Demand”. Research the target market and the scope of demand. People are increasingly turning entrepreneurs in online businesses. The reasons are many- flexible timings, quality time and the financial viability of it.
