With the real estate business hoppen these days home inspection is getting to be a big business. The promoters of this business advertise no receivables, no inventory, no office rent, low startup costs with a minimum investment of $15,000.

Over 77% of all recent home buyers ordered an independent home inspection, according to a 2001 survey conducted jointly by the National Association of Realtors (NAR), and The American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI). Of these, 97% believes the inspection was a good value for the price they paid.
