World Wide Merchandise is a drop ship company for general merchandise and electronics. Drop shipping is generally a good idea for people wanting to offer a wide variety of items and not have to stock or ship them from your home business. The problem with World Wide Merchandise is their pricing which for most items, the MSRP is outrageous. Some examples are a boom box that costs you $48.20 and they say the retail price would be $139.95. I checked then Wal-Mart web site and they have a large variety for about $50 each on average.

Another problem is there are also plenty of cheesy items like an Elvis clock and other out of demand materials. World Wide Merchandise offers basically no-name items, and much of it is items that are outdated (people buy Ipods a heck of a lot more than boom boxes) or priced unrealistically (I don't know anyone who is going to mail order a 5" picture frame for $13.95 when they could get it for $5 at Wal-Mart). They also sell web hosting and merchant accounts, but no prices are given so I assume it's not going to be cheap.

Some things were a little more decent, such as paying $3.50 for a walkman style headset with AM/FM radio, or no name sports watches for $1.50 but these things, even if marked up would require tremendous volume to make a living on. The plus side to World Wide Merchandise is that you don't have to stock these items; you can order them as orders come in, but it's going to be a hard sell with the price and quality of the items I've seen.

Overall I’d pass on World Wide Merchandise as their items are not very cutting edge or desirable for today’s market where high tech rules in my opinion. The main problem with World Wide Merchandise is that the items are just overpriced. You can get many items cheaper in local stores and their retail price estimates are way out of line with reality.
