Lance Young has been a real estate investor since 1987. He started out buying and selling preforeclosure and bank repossessed houses. Later, he started investing in probate houses.

In 1996 Lance Young wrote his first real estate investment course, called "How To Buy Preforeclosure Houses For Big Profits". He went on to write three more: “How To Make Big Money At Foreclosure Auctions”, “How To Buy Bank Repossessed Houses For Big Profits”, and “How To Make Big Money With Probate Houses”. Lance Young claims to make an average profit of $100 an hour by following his own real estate strategy, and he promises that you can do it too. His main strategy is to buy foreclosures and probate houses “dirt-cheap” with a $10 deposit, then flip them immediately for instant profits.
