Corey Rudl has been selling products and services on the Internet for probably five years now. He started out selling a book called "Car Secrets Revealed". He claims to gross over $5 million a year and he says he is the most successful Internet marketer there is. He doesn't say how much he 'nets' except to say that it's many hundreds of thousands, maybe millions. Is Corey telling the truth or is this another sales pitch? I do know that his materials are quite good and there isn't any reason that you shouldn't order a copy of his book. "The Insider Secrets to Marketing Your Site on the Internet."

The manual is broken down into two volumes of three ring binders of information which is printed on only two thirds of a page and only on one side. Rudl says this is so that you can make notes in the large margin. He promotes ' targeted bulk e-mail' as a marketing technique and sells a bulk mail software called Mailloop.

Corey Rudl does a great job in going into a great amount of detail about the search engines, bulk e-mail, web site design and banner placement. What you are going to need to be successful on the Internet is a bit more detail than what Corey Rudl gives you, but you need to start somewhere. This is not a bad place to start.

Corey Rudl also has one of the biggest associate program on the net that involves a moneymaking product. At this point in time he has over 10,000 distributors. Corey doesn't give you the insider info that you would expect... namely.. how to get loads of people to your site and how to sell them... but you will get a pretty fair grounding in Internet marketing. It's priced at just under $200.

Yesterday I learnt of the tragic death, at the age of 34, of Corey Rudl. His Internet Marketing Course was a world leader. It continues to sell in record numbers today, having gone through numerous updates.

Corey lived life in the fast lane, and he "walked the talk". He made $7.5 million a year online. He died as a passenger in a Porsche Carrera GT on the California Speedway in Fontana.

My thoughts go out to his young widow, Tracy whom I met at their wedding recpetion last September. It is hard to lose a loved one. My step daughter Amy was also killed in a cat accident on June 10, 1995 one month before her wedding. I can still see the look in her mothers eyes when she had to take Amys wedding dress back. She was only 22.

This is a sombre reminder that life can be short; money can seem to be important in the short term.
