Contest Scams

People who think they are going to get something for nothing will usually enter contests. A lot of these scams revolve around International lotteries. The companies that promote these kinds of scams take your money that you send to enter you in the lottery but keep your money.

You know that your chances of winning one of these lotteries is about 100 million to one. Pretty huge odds. Of course the Colorado lottery is only 5 million to one. Those odds are better but still a very good way to lose your money. Of course, I have been told, if you don't play you can't win. So if you have money your going to throw away I would at least play your local state lottery and forget the others.

There are other contest scams like companies that send you a letter telling you that your in the top position to win a new car but you need to send $19.95 to stay in that position, or some kind of excuse to get you to send money.

If you really want to earn money from home entering contests is a waste of time. Start thinking about your future instead and find a real business opportunity.

Let's face it. There are a lot of scams around designed to take your money.
